With rising popularity came attention, and not all of it was positive. Risk Couture caught the eye of Rihanna’s legal team over similarities in its “R” logo. Fiston stood his ground, but with the weight of a global brand against him, he eventually reached an agreement, modifying the logo slightly to move forward.

2024

Fast forward ten years later, Fiston relocated to the UAE and founded Gated Community, “By invitation only” a brand born out of exclusivity and shaped by the elegance of the UAE lifestyle. Designed for those who value quality, privacy, and genuine connection, Gated Community is more than fashion, it’s an entry into a collective, its a lifestyle. Access is reserved for members only.

Born from struggle and shaped by triumph, Gated Community is a story woven into the fabric.

I believe we should wear our clothes, not let them wear us. Fashion, to me, is about comfort and simplicity, but it should never lose its edge. It has to come naturally. When I design, I focus on creating pieces that feel effortless, yet make an impact, minimalist in form, bold in presence.
